Alpini Group Festival 2026 in Carciano

On Sunday, July 5, 2026, the hamlet of Carciano, in Stresa, will host the traditional Alpini Group Festival, organized by the A.N.A. – National Alpini Association, Stresa Group – Intra Section.

The event is an important occasion for Alpini members, local authorities, and the community to come together for a day that combines remembrance, tradition, and fellowship through official ceremonies, music, and the traditional Alpini lunch.

Programme of the day

The event will begin at 9:30 AM with the gathering of participants in the square outside the Church of Carciano.

At 10:00 AM, the parade and the flag-raising ceremony will take place, followed by the laying of a wreath at the War Memorial in Piazzale Lido, accompanied by the Bandella Alpina del Lago Maggiore.

At 11:00 AM, Holy Mass will be celebrated in the Parish Church of Carciano. At the end of the service, refreshments will be served in Piazza San Carlo, followed by the formation of the parade, the flag-raising ceremony at the Alpini Monument, and the laying of a wreath at the War Memorial, accompanied by the Corpo Musicale del Mottarone.

The day will continue at 1:00 PM with the traditional Alpini lunch, served in the Pro Carciano refreshment area, while the standard-bearers attending the event will be guests of the organizers.

The event will conclude at 5:00 PM.

One of the highlights of the Alpini Group Festival is the traditional lunch, a moment of fellowship that celebrates Alpine culinary traditions and the spirit of sharing that has always characterized the Alpini.
